The correct development of a child is impossible without proper nutrition based on an individual approach. Closer to 4-5 months, the baby's body begins to gradually prepare for the transition from liquid dairy food to adult food. Most often, children enjoy eating fruit purees, which can be completely prepared at home.

Instructions

Step 1

Before making the fruit puree, make sure that the fruit of your choice has not been treated with chemicals. Select the best fruits that are free from defects and flaws. Peel, wash, and chop the fruit just before making the fruit puree.

Step 2

Remember, you shouldn't store ready-made fruit puree in the refrigerator for more than two hours. Strictly follow the rules of hygiene and sanitation, wash the fruit thoroughly with soap, rinse well and be sure to douse with boiled water.

Step 3

Use a double boiler to cook fruits, but keep in mind that they should not be cooked in it for a long time, as they will lose all useful vitamins and minerals. Use a blender to chop the fruit, and if not, wipe it through a normal sieve. Then add a little broth and bring to a boil.

Step 4

Determine the consistency of the finished fruit puree that will suit your baby's taste. If desired, you can add foods that the child loves very much to the cooled puree, for example, milk, cottage cheese, etc.

Step 5

Prepare a delicious pumpkin apple puree for your child as follows. Take a small piece of pumpkin, a medium apple, and about 5 grams of butter. Then peel and seed them, rinse thoroughly and cut into small cubes.

Step 6

Boil the pumpkin until tender, then add the apple and cook for 5-8 minutes. Grind hot in a blender or strain through a sieve, then add a lump of butter. You can boil the pumpkin and apple in a double boiler, or bake in the oven, instead of boiling on the stove.

Step 7

If you want to puree raw fruits, rinse them thoroughly, peel them, remove the seeds from the berries, pour over with boiling water and grind in a blender. Remember, this puree cannot be stored, so prepare it immediately before use.
