Before drinking sherry, prepare special sherry glasses in advance. They look like champagne glasses, slightly elongated in the shape of a tulip. If you don't have such glasses, use regular wine glasses, they will work too.

Pay attention to the bottle and the inscriptions on the label, determine which sherry is in front of you.

Sherry varieties Fino and Manzanilla are dry wines with a yellowish color. Sherry Fino with a delicate slightly fruity bouquet and a nutty flavor, Manzanilla is more aromatic and light, with a slight bitterness. Serve such sherries only chilled, up to 5-10 degrees. Hold the glass of wine by the stem so that it does not heat up from your hand. Drink these sherries as an aperitif. These wines will be very good with seafood, fish and soft cheeses.

Amontillado is a sherry with a pronounced amber color with a pleasant hint of almond. It happens dry and semi-dry. Drink it chilled, it will be very good with fish or white meat, as well as with hard cheeses. Amontillado is one of the few wines that can be served with soups, and it doesn't lose in the least.

Palo Cortado is a very rare wine with us. If you're lucky enough to find it in stores, enjoy it chilled to 16 degrees. A good cigar will perfectly complement it.

Madium is a serious sherry. Chill it to 10 degrees and serve with pâté

Sherry Oloroso is a strong, aromatic wine with predominantly nutty notes. This beautiful drink, which ranges from dark golden to mahogany, is recommended with red meat. Do not forget to also chill this wine to a temperature of 16 degrees.

Serve Cream sherry with desserts, for example, with biscuits. This wine is sweet, dark and very pleasant. It should be cooled to 13 degrees. It is also good to drink it simply with ice cubes.

Pair Pale Cream with a variety of fresh fruits. The liver of a bird will set off this sherry just as well. Since the wine is delicate and soft, it should be cooled to 7 degrees.
