  • - 5 bay leaves,
  • - 6 peppercorns,
  • - 700 ml of water.

Step 1

To make the salad tasty, use young and juicy heads of cabbage for cooking. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage. Cut the head of cabbage into two parts, remove the stalk, chop into strips.

Rinse the carrots, peel, cut into strips. If desired, carrots can be grated on a coarse grater.

Peel and chop the garlic cloves. Transfer prepared vegetables to a saucepan and stir.

For the marinade. Pour water into a free saucepan, add the required amount of sugar, salt, vegetable oil, lavrushka, peppercorns. Put the pot on fire. After boiling, boil the marinade for 5 minutes on medium heat.
