Most brands of store soda contain phosphoric acid, which is a cheap substitute for citric acid. Therefore, effervescent water from a supermarket is unlikely to be useful for health. Meanwhile, making an absolutely natural refreshing homemade soda based on lemon, orange or some kind of jam is a snap.
It is necessary
- - 3-4 tbsp / l sugar;
- - 1 medium lemon, orange or jam;
- - two plastic bottles - 0.5 and 1 l;
- - a piece of a plastic bag;
- - funnel;
- - a tube from a dropper or aquarium compressor;
- - hot melt glue:
- - soda and vinegar (not added to the soda itself).
Instructions
Step 1
Fill a large plastic bottle with clean, preferably filtered, water. Add sugar to it through the funnel. In order for the drink to have a pleasant taste in the future, 3-4 tablespoons are enough. But lovers of sweet homemade soda can add more sugar to the water.
Step 2
Roll the lemon on a cutting board to soften it. Next, cut up the citrus and squeeze the juice into the sugar and water. If you want an orange soda, do the same with an orange. Jam for a drink will be enough in the amount of 1-2 tbsp. spoons.
Step 3
Pierce the caps of both bottles exactly in the center with an awl. You can preheat it with gas. Take a not too long piece of tubing from the dropper and thread the ends into the caps. Secure them with hot melt glue from the inside. This must be done. Otherwise, the tubes will subsequently fly out of the caps due to pressure.
Step 4
The best answer to the question of how to make carbonated soda is, of course, soda and vinegar. These ingredients are likely to be found in every home. Pour vinegar 9% into a small bottle through a funnel, filling about ¼ of its volume.
Step 5
Cover the neck of the container with a piece of a plastic bag and push the center of the bag inward. A small "bag" should form in the bottle. Pour 2 tbsp into it. l soda and lightly twist the ends of a piece of a plastic bag.
Step 6
Next, to make soda at home, push the resulting soda bag all the way into the bottle. Close both containers - with vinegar and soda and sweet water - with lids. Shake the small bottle gently. As a result, the plastic bag will unwind and the soda will pour into the vinegar.
Step 7
Wait a bit for the reaction to take place. There will be a lot of gas in a small bottle. Through a tube under pressure, it will begin to flow into a sweet liquid of large capacity.
Step 8
After a while, the pressure in both bottles will rise very strongly (several times more than in car tires). Both containers will become rigid. At this moment, you need to take a large bottle in your hands and shake it strongly. This should be done for about a minute.
Step 9
Wait for the end of the reaction in a small bottle. Once the bubbles stop coming out, carefully unscrew the cap of the large bottle. Delicious homemade soda is ready. Using this technology, you can make a simple mega-carbonated drink. At least it tastes much better than regular homemade soda or soda from the store.
