Of course, it is almost impossible to cook real Armenian lavash at home, as this requires a special oven. Still, you should try to cook pita bread at home - it will turn out to be soft and elastic. Lavash can be used to prepare a lot of original and delicious snacks for a festive table.

- 2.5 cups flour
- 1 glass of kefir,
- 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil,
- salt,
- 0.5 tsp soda
Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all the ingredients and a suitable bowl for making pita bread.
Step 2
Kefir should be at room temperature, do not overheat it. Pour 1 glass of kefir into a bowl.
Step 3
Add salt, soda and vegetable oil there.
Step 4
Sift the flour through a fine sieve to oxygenate and send to a bowl with all the other ingredients. Knead a firm dough, cover with a towel or cellophane bag to allow the dough to spread. Leave on for 30 minutes.
Step 5
After that, knead the dough again and cut into several small pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a thin cake, the thickness should be no more than one millimeter.
Step 6
Put a frying pan on the fire (without oil), heat well. And bake one flat cake for 10-15 seconds on each side. Our wonderful lavashiks are ready to be served.
