As a rule, pineapple comes to us already cut into rings or cubes and canned. In order to cut this exotic fruit yourself, you need to follow a few simple rules.
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to cut off the bottom of the pineapple. So the pineapple will become more stable, and the following manipulations will be much easier to carry out.
Step 2
Holding by the tail, you need to cut off the skin (but not completely, but only the top layer of 2-3 mm). Black dots should remain on the pulp.
Step 3
The next step is to remove black dots. There are two ways to do this:
1) remove them in the manner of potato eyes (an economical method, but laborious and very time-consuming)
2) carefully examining the fruit, you can see that the points are not chaotically located, but diagonally. In order to quickly remove them, you need to cut the grooves in a spiral from top to bottom (the method is not so economical, but it takes about 10 minutes)
Step 4
Now you can cut off the top with the leaves - they are no longer useful for cutting, but will look great as a decoration for cocktails.
Step 5
It remains only to cut the hard middle. This can also be done in two ways:
1) cut the fruit lengthwise from top to bottom, each part in half again. Now cut out the tough middle.
2) cut into circles and cut out the middle with a shape about 2 cm in diameter.
