Potato casserole is a simple and rather hearty dish, for the preparation of which you need the products available in the refrigerator of almost every housewife. It is necessary

    • 1.5 kg of potatoes;
    • 200 ml of milk;
    • 500 g pork;
    • 500 g of beef;
    • 50 g butter;
    • 2 heads of onions;
    • 3-4 cloves of garlic;
    • 1 egg;
    • mayonnaise;
    • 50 g bread crumbs;
    • ground black pepper;
    • salt;
    • vegetable oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the potatoes, wash them thoroughly and place them in a saucepan of cold salted water. Put the saucepan over medium heat and cook the potatoes until tender.

Step 2

Drain the broth into a separate container, and crush the boiled potatoes until puree.

Step 3

Boil the milk and melt the butter over low heat or in the microwave. Add both of these ingredients to the mashed potatoes while continuing to beat and beat.

Leave the mashed potatoes to cool at room temperature and start cooking the minced meat.

Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces and pass them through a meat grinder. Peel the onion and also pass it through a meat grinder. Chop the garlic and add it to the minced meat.

Beat the egg, add mayonnaise to it and brush the mixture over the top of the casserole.

Place the dish to bake for half an hour in an oven preheated to 180º. Allow the casserole to cool slightly before placing the casserole on the plates.

Serve the potato casserole with a variety of sauces, gravies, or sour cream.
