It is necessary

  • - melon juice - 10 l;
  • - sugar - 4 kg;
  • - yeast - 200 g.

Instructions

Step 1

It is best to use ripe fruits for making wine. After rinsing the melon well, peel off the skin and remove the seeds. Cut the remaining pulp into small enough pieces.

Step 2

Squeeze the juice from the chopped melon pulp. This can be done as follows: Put the fruit pulp in a blender bowl and chop it. Pass the resulting mass through several layers of clean gauze. You can also squeeze the juice from the melon using a juicer. Choose a method that is convenient for you.

Step 3

Juice squeezed from the melon pulp, it should be at least 10 liters, pour into a pre-prepared and suitable size glass container. Then add yeast and granulated sugar dissolved in a small amount of warm water there. Mix everything as it should.

Step 4

Close the dishes with the resulting mixture tightly with a special shutter. If it is not available, then use a rubber glove - it must be firmly fixed on the neck of the glass bottle. Leaving the future melon wine at room temperature, wait until the end of fermentation comes - it will become light.

Step 5

Strain the finished drink thoroughly, then distribute it over the prepared glassware. Do not forget to taste the resulting wine. If you think that there is not enough sugar, then add it to your liking.

Step 6

After tightly corking the bottles, store this drink in the cellar, that is, where it is cool. Melon wine is ready! By the way, the longer you age this wine, the more pleasant and interesting its taste will become.
