The name "Smoothie" comes from the English "smooth" - which means uniform, smooth, even. These are the qualities that characterize this delicious drink.
Smoothie is a mixture of fruits and / or berries, whipped in a mixer until smooth. Some recipes add juice, milk, or ice to the fruit.
1. Apple kiwi smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 kiwi;
- 1 sweet and sour apple;
- 1 stalk of celery
- 2 sprigs of fresh basil;
- 100 ml of green tea;
- honey to taste.
Preparation:
Peel kiwi, apple and celery. Cut into small pieces. Grind the basil. Turn all components into a homogeneous mass using a blender. Dilute with chilled tea to the required consistency.
2. Fruit smoothie with mint
Ingredients:
- 2 kiwi;
- 1 banana;
- 1/4 pineapple;
- juice of 4 oranges;
- 5 mint leaves.
Preparation:
Peel and cut kiwi and pineapple slices. In a blender or food processor, beat all ingredients, including bananas and washed mint leaves, until smooth.
3. Blueberry banana smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 bananas;
- 100 g blueberries;
- 50-80 ml coffee cream;
- 1 tsp honey;
- ice cubes.
Preparation:
Peel bananas, beat in mashed potatoes. You should get about 150 ml. Rinse blueberries, drain off water. Mix blueberries and banana puree, add cream, honey and beat with a blender. Serve in glasses with ice.
4. Blackcurrant smoothie
Ingredients:
- 200 g frozen black currant;
- 500 ml of yogurt;
- 2 tbsp. spoons of honey;
- 2 sprigs of mint.
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in a blender bowl, beat on high speed until smooth.
5. Tropical smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 peaches or nectarines;
- 2 mugs of fresh pineapple;
- 3 tbsp. spoons of frozen papaya chunks;
- juice of 2 oranges;
- ice cubes.
Preparation:
Cut peaches, scald, peel. Chop the pulp, peel and chop the pineapples, put the fruits in a blender. Pour in the orange juice and beat until smooth. Serve in glasses with ice.
