The nice thing is that to make homemade tarragon, not so much grass is needed, just one tray is enough, of course, if you want to achieve greater flavor and color saturation, then it is advisable to increase the portion of tarragon. In addition to grass, you will need soda water. You can buy it at the store, or prepare it yourself using a siphon.

Homemade tarragon cooking process

For homemade tarragon, you will need:

- 1 liter of sparkling water;

- 7 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;

- a handful of tarragon;

- lemon;

- 2 glasses of plain water

The process of making homemade tarragon begins with the preparation of sugar syrup. To do this, you need to dissolve seven tablespoons of sugar in two glasses of water and slowly stirring, bring to a boil. The syrup should boil for about two minutes, after which it is ready, you can leave it to cool and start preparing the herb. Rinse the tarragon thoroughly and then chop. Of course, it is more convenient to do this with a blender, however, if necessary, you can do with an ordinary knife. The result is a fragrant green mass.

It is worth a little hurry, because the chopped tarragon needs to be added to the still hot sugar syrup in time. After that, cover the container with a lid and leave to infuse. The longer the infusion process lasts, the richer your future drink will turn out. The minimum time is approximately one hour. After that, the future tarragon must be filtered. For this, you can use a fine sieve or regular cheesecloth. Take your time, carefully squeeze all the juices out of the grass, because there are so many useful substances in it.

Add sparkling water and lemon juice to the resulting sweet infusion. That's all, homemade tarragon is ready. Of course, it is much more pleasant to drink chilled, so the drink should be placed in the refrigerator for a while, or you can simply add a couple of ice cubes to it.
