Beer is the third most popular drink in the world, second only to water and tea. Among alcoholic beverages, beer has been confidently holding a leading position for decades. To date, about 1000 types of beer have been officially registered.

Exotic beer

Beer tastes very different in different countries. You will never confuse Russian-made beer with Chinese or Brazilian. If you are tired of the usual wheat or Zhigulevskoe, you can try:

- Beer from Japan: happoshu (low malt) or bilki (milk beer);

- beer from Germany: kelsh (bitter top-fermented beer), bock (beer with a strength of 6-10%), rauchbier (beer with a smoked taste);

- from Ireland: kilkenny (red ale), beamish (classic dark beer).

Unique beers produced in limited quantities can bring you a very unusual experience. Their cost is high, but for a change you can try them too:

- Space Barley - space beer, which is brewed from barley grown in zero gravity;

- Crown Ambassador Reserve (this beer is aged in oak barrels throughout the year);

- Tutankhamun Ale (ale brewed according to the recreated recipe of the ancient Egyptians);

- "Bismarck's Immersion" (beer with a strength of 41 degrees).

Beer based cocktails

You can diversify the taste of beer by mixing it with other beverages. The most famous beer cocktail is "ruff", when 1 part of vodka and 2 parts of beer are mixed. However, there are many more sophisticated combinations.

Black & Tan cocktail. This cocktail was invented in Ireland, but it is especially loved by Americans. You will need 2 types of beer: light (ale or lager) and dark (stout or porter). When preparing a cocktail, you cannot do without a teaspoon. Bend the spoon so that there is a right angle between the handle and the ladle. Pour a light beer into a tall beer glass, and then exactly the same amount of dark beer. In this case, dark beer should be poured in a spoon to prevent mixing of drinks.

Submarine cocktail. Served in bars around the world, this cocktail is easy to make at home. Pour beer (about 450 grams) into a beer glass and add 50 grams of tequila.

Cocktail "Black Corduroy". This cocktail requires a classic dark Guinness and champagne (preferably brut or semi-dry). First, beer is poured into a glass, and then, using a knife or spoon, champagne in a 1: 1 ratio.

Chelada cocktail. Cool the beer glass and then run a lemon wedge around the edges. While the juice has not dried, turn the glass over and dip it in salt to form a salt rim. Then put a few ice cubes in a glass, pour 30-50 grams of lime juice and add light beer.

Beer snacks

Snacks can set off the flavor of your favorite beer. They reorient the taste buds on the tongue, allowing you to feel the taste of each new sip as if it were the first.

Toast. "Borodinsky" or "Darnitsky bread" must be cut into cubes, removing the crusts. Spread melted butter on each bar with a brush. Place in a hot dry skillet and fry over high heat. The croutons will have a more piquant taste if they are rubbed with garlic and lightly salted before spreading with oil.

Cheese puffs. The finished puff pastry must be thawed, rolled out and cut into squares. Place a piece of cheese in the center of each square (it is better to take salted or spicy cheese), and then wrap the dough in a triangle and "seal" with your fingers. In the oven or microwave, such puffs are baked for 15-20 minutes.

Sharp wings. For 1 kilogram of chicken wings, you need 100 grams of tabasco and a little black pepper. Spread the sauce over the wings and sprinkle with pepper, leave to marinate for 20 minutes, then place on a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes. Instead of wings, you can take pork ribs.
