Dry wine is an alcoholic drink with a strength of 9 to 16 degrees, made from grapes. Natural wine is obtained from the fermentation of grape juice. This is the oldest drink, which people called a gift from the gods and created a culture of its use, wine etiquette.
It is necessary
- - a glass for white wine;
- - a glass for red wine;
- - champagne glass;
- - red, white wine, champagne.
Instructions
Step 1
Drink wine correctly, this drink requires certain knowledge, without which most of the pleasure will be lost. A glass of wine should only be held by the stem. Raise your hand with a glass to your mouth, first the wine touches the upper lip, and then through the open lips it is drawn into the oral cavity.
Step 2
Do not swallow the wine right away, you need to hold it on your tongue a little, because it is there that taste buds are located, thus you can feel the taste of the drink with all shades.
Step 3
Take a wine glass. Its optimal shape is tulip-shaped or cut-off ovoid, since in such a glass the aroma emitted by the wine is retained and concentrated. The glass should be on a thin stem of medium height, so that it is convenient to hold it by the middle of the stem.
Step 4
Get a champagne or sparkling wine glass: tall, tapered, preferably with a hollow stem. In such narrow and tall vessels, the sparkling properties of wine are manifested for a long time and more intensely. The capacity of such glasses is 100-120 g.
Step 5
Choose a thin, clear glass with no thickened or sanded edges. This does not prevent you from feeling the temperature of the wine through the glass and getting the liquid right on the tongue. The stem, base and the glass itself should not be colored, as this distorts the color of the wine.
Step 6
Choose a white wine glass: Large with a wide bell-shaped top; red wine glass: slightly rounded in the shape of a tulip.
Step 7
Select the desired wine temperature. Drink still white wines chilled to 10-12 ° C, still red wines - up to 16-18 ° C, white and Muscat sparkling champagne - up to 7-10 ° C, sparkling red wines - up to 14-16 ° C.
Step 8
Pour in the "correct" amount of wine: the volume of the glass should be three times the volume of liquid that is poured into it.
Step 9
Bring the glass to eye level and appreciate the clarity and color of the wine. Smell the wine, first just bring the glass to your nose, then after rotating the glass: it will warm up a little and begin to emit new aromas.
Step 10
Choose the dishes that suit your wine: white wine goes well with fish, seafood and poultry. Serve red wines with meat dishes (only red wine for mushrooms). Champagne can be served with any dish, with the exception of herring and marinades.
