Most of the green tea varieties were born in the countries of the East. So a special drink called "sencha" came to us from Japan. Sencha is distinguished by the fact that instead of toasting, tea leaves are steamed and rolled into thin strips, for which it was called by the inhabitants of Japan - "spider legs".
Instructions
Step 1
The traditional Senchi Way is a tea-brewing cult that was created by the Japanese themselves. Indeed, at all times, sencha tea has been the most common drink and an integral part of gongfu tea ceremonies, as well as tea drinking, both at home and in restaurants. Due to its versatile taste, the slice is perfectly drunk both as a hot drink and chilled, respectively, it perfectly warms in cool weather and quenches thirst on a hot day.
Step 2
There are certain rules for brewing sencha, observing them, tea will acquire an exquisite taste and useful properties. The Japanese brew tea in porcelain dishes, preferably in light shades. The water in which the sencha is placed should be no more than 85 ° C. The brewing process should strictly last no more than one minute, otherwise your drink will become cloudy and give a bitter taste. Sencha tea can be brewed about three times, but remember that with each repeated use, the tea will lose its flavor.
Step 3
If a thick foam appears during brewing, then be sure that you have done everything right. If there is no foam, then the problem may be either in the temperature of the water, or simply in the quality of the tea itself.
Step 4
Dishes are very important! This wonderful drink should be drunk from a white bowl or from a transparent bowl. So you will allow yourself to enjoy the pleasant taste and divine aroma, as well as the amazing soft green color of the tea.
Step 5
Sencha has been proven to be an excellent antioxidant. Thus, it enables our body to be healthy. After all, antioxidants help the body fight cancer and cardiovascular problems. Sencha tea is packed with vitamins A, B, C, D, E, iodine and amino acids. Such a composition allows you to relieve fatigue, tones up and replenishes our body with useful substances. Sencha is considered a diet tea because it contains much less tannin and caffeine than other green teas.
Step 6
Sencha tea is harvested in April and ends in August. The tea harvested in April is called the "new tea" because it is considered to be of the highest quality. Tea from the April harvest will not only give you an amazing taste and unsurpassed aroma, which is incomparable with anything, but it is also enriched to a greater extent than tea from other collections, vitamins and microelements. In honor of such an event as the first tea harvest, an event is held in Japan called Shincha Matsuri, that is, the festival of the early harvest.
