Pasta is a favorite side dish for adults and children. But, really tasty are only those pasta that did not stick together during the cooking process and did not turn into gruel. How do you prepare them?
1. There should not be little water. Based on approximately 1 liter of water per 100 grams of pasta.
2. Pour pasta only into a pot of boiling water. Salt the water before the pasta is in it.
3. After the pasta has been dropped into the pot with water, stir well so that the pasta does not stick to the bottom of the pot. Do not put a lid on it.
4. After the water with pasta has boiled again, stir gently again.
5. The cooking time is usually indicated on the package and depends on the type of pasta. The finer the pasta, the less cooking time it will take. On average, 5-10 minutes. It is important not to overdo the pasta so that it does not boil over. In the case of pasta, it is better not to cook them than to digest them.
6. Cooked pasta quickly and accurately fold into a colander.
Further, two options are possible:
Option 1 (classic) - rinse the pasta with water and, while stirring, slightly heat it in a pan with a piece of butter.
Option 2 (simplified) - put the pasta in a colander, wait for the water to drain, put the pasta back in the pan and add a piece of butter or a spoonful of vegetable oil. Mix gently.
Tip: Choose durum wheat pasta, they are healthy and will not boil over during cooking.
