Red rice is one of the healthiest types of rice. The fact is that this is rice, from which the shell has not been removed, and for the most part it contains vitamins, fiber and nutrients. In addition, the red shell has a pleasant aroma, so red rice is never completely polished. In ancient China, red rice was prized above all other varieties. At one time, it was only available to the emperor and his family. Red rice goes well with poultry, fish, mushrooms and vegetables, as well as dried fruits and milk.

- 200 g red rice;
- 300 ml of water.
- For red rice with beans:
- 500 g red rice;
- 40 g adzuki beans;
- 1 tbsp sesame;
- 1 tsp salt.
- For red rice with vegetables:

- 300 ml of water;
- 1 head of onion;
- paprika;

- 100 g beans;
- 100 g canned corn;
- 100 g bell pepper;

- For sweet rice:
- 200 g red rice;
- 50 g of light raisins;
- 1 tsp lemon juice;
- sugar;
- vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Boiled red rice
Rinse the rice in cold water. Cover with water, cook for 30-40 minutes over medium-low heat.
Step 2
Red rice with beans
Wash and dry the beans. Boil water, salt, add beans, cook for 10 minutes without closing the lid. Remove the beans from the water with a slotted spoon.
Step 3
Rinse the rice several times, dry it, put it in a saucepan. Pour half of the bean water. Leave in the refrigerator overnight.
Step 4
Drain the water, dry the rice, mix it with the beans. Steam the mixture for 15 minutes. Divide the unused water in which the beans were boiled into pieces. Add one portion to the steamer, cook for another 15 minutes. Top up the second part, cook for another 15 minutes, do the same with the third part.
Step 5
Remove the pan from heat, mash the beans and rice for 5 minutes. Combine salt and sesame seeds. Stir the rice with beans with a wooden spatula and sprinkle with sesame salt. Serve as a side dish with grilled fish or chicken.
Step 6
Red rice with vegetables

Rinse the rice in running water and dry. Pour 0.5-1 cm of vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat slightly. Pour the rice evenly into the skillet and heat it properly.
Step 10
Place the roasted rice in boiling water. Pour in lemon juice, add sugar and cook until half cooked (15-20 minutes). Rinse the raisins, pat dry. Add raisins to the rice, cook until tender.
