Soften the butter in a deep bowl and combine with the sifted flour. Gradually add sugar or honey to the mass. Then add baking powder and egg. Knead to a homogeneous dough.
It is undesirable to use slaked soda in this recipe, since the dough may not work out. Sometimes housewives do not add an egg to the shortbread dough, but in this case, without this product, it may turn out to be too crumbly, which is not suitable for curd cake with irga.
Preparation of the filling
Place cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and sour cream in a blender bowl. Whisk everything until smooth.

Step-by-step process
Dilute the fast-acting yeast in a glass of warm water. Stir well and add sugar and flour. Knead the dough, cover the bowl with plastic and a towel and leave in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
When the dough is ready, add 2 cups of flour, salt and vegetable oil to it. Knead loose dough, cover again with plastic and a towel and leave to rise in a warm place for another 10-15 minutes.
Prepare the filling during this time. Take a stewpan, rub the berries of a sirgi through a sieve to make a puree. Put the saucepan on low heat, add 2-3 tbsp. l. sugar and water. If you wish, you can add the zest of one lemon or orange to the filling, so the yeast pie with irga will be even more fragrant.
Cook the filling until the sugar dissolves and the puree starts to stick to the bottom of the saucepan. Stir the berry mixture the entire time. Add a little more water if necessary to prevent the filling from burning.
It is important not to bring the berries to a boil. When the sugar has dissolved, remove the puree from the heat. Chop the nuts, add to the berry mass, mix everything well and let the filling cool. If you are afraid that the berry filling will flow out of the pie, add 1 tbsp to the warm berry mass. l. sifted flour or cornstarch. For this, flour must first be lightly fried in a dry frying pan.
Divide the risen yeast dough into 2 parts and roll each to the size of a baking dish. Grease the mold with butter, put the first layer of dough on the bottom, distribute the filling evenly over it. Gently cover the top with a second layer of dough.
