Meat stew with potatoes is a hearty and tasty dish. It can be prepared both for a family dinner and as a main dish for a festive table. Spices and garlic give the stew a special aroma and great taste.

- 1 kg. potatoes
- 3 medium onions
- 2 carrots
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1.5 cups meat broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 4 cloves of garlic
- salt
- ground black pepper
- basil
- Bay leaf
- spices to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the meat into pieces and lightly fry.
Step 2
Add half of the broth and simmer the meat over low heat for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Peel and cut the potatoes into meat-sized cubes.
Add potatoes to meat and mix. Simmer under a closed lid over low heat.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots.
Fry onions and carrots, add tomato paste and sauté.
Step 5
Fry the flour in a pan without adding oil until light brown.

Add flour to vegetables, mix, add the rest of the broth and, stirring continuously, bring to a boil.

Pour the dressing into the meat, add chopped garlic, salt, pepper, basil, bay leaf, spices to taste and mix everything.

Close the lid and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
