The beneficial properties of carrots have been known since ancient times. Anyone who often includes this juicy sweet vegetable in their diet does not lose, because carrots are a storehouse of vitamins C, K, beta-carotene, fiber, antioxidants and potassium. Carrots also contain an abundance of beneficial trace elements, mineral salts and easily digestible sugars. The undoubted advantage of this vegetable is that the beta-carotene contained in it is not destroyed after boiling or other heat treatment, and also does not "evaporate" even during long-term storage. So it is no coincidence that carrots are so often a guest on our table. Almost every day we see it in first courses, and in salads, and in all kinds of stews, sautés and fries. However, as a sweet dish in everyday life, carrots are rarely used. The proposed recipe for carrot dessert fills this gap.
It is necessary
-
- 3 large carrots
- 200g (1 pack) cottage cheese
- 3 tablespoons semolina
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 100g sour cream
- salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the carrots into pieces or grate them on a coarse grater. Simmer in a little water until soft. Chop the carrots soaked in a blender, put in a saucepan, heat very much, but do not bring to a boil. Pour the semolina in a thin stream and mix well. Let the semolina swell for 8-10 minutes.
Step 2
Mash cottage cheese well or soften in a blender. Combine it with carrots, add eggs, sugar, a pinch of salt. Mix everything thoroughly so that there are no lumps, or use a blender.
Step 3
Divide the prepared mass into greased portion molds. Smooth out the dough, brush the top with sour cream. Bake at 180 ° C for about 30-35 minutes.
Step 4
Put on a plate, pour over sour cream, garnish with strawberries, raspberries or a mint leaf.
