- For filling:
- -1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- -1/2 tsp cinnamon
- For the cake:
- -1 glass of flour
- -1 teaspoon baking powder
- -1/4 teaspoon salt
- -1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- -1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- -1/2 cup granulated sugar
- -1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- -1/4 cup sour cream
- -1 egg, room temperature
- -1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh or frozen cranberries
- -1/2 cup apples, chopped (peeled)
- -1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease with butter.
Step 2
Make the filling. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl and set aside.
Step 3
In another small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
Step 4
Using a mixer on medium speed, beat together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and sour cream, mix thoroughly again. Beat in the eggs.
Step 5
Transfer all of step 4 to a large kneading bowl. Add flour, cranberries, apples and walnuts to all ingredients. mix everything thoroughly. The dough should be thick.
Step 6
Bake in oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown on top. Chill before serving. Serve with tea or cocoa. Top with cream.
