Many people believe that a cupcake is a baked product that must have a certain shape, which means that if there is not one, the cake will not work. But do not deny the pleasure of pampering yourself with a cupcake, even if you do not have a special form at hand.
It is necessary
-
- 3 cups sifted premium flour;
- 300 g of natural butter (any other is unacceptable);
- 2 cups granulated sugar;
- half a glass of chopped nuts;
- half a teaspoon of baking soda.
- For the glaze, use 200 g of icing sugar and 1 protein.
Instructions
Step 1
Cupcakes can only be decorated with nuts, icing, or a combination of both. Any other decorations can spoil the great taste of this type of baked goods. If you are using a pan for baking muffins, then you need to remember one rule: ready-made baked goods can only be removed from the tins when they are completely cool. During the preparation of the muffin dough, it must be kneaded very quickly, while trying to maintain the structure of the frothy dough. Only after adding flour should the whipped egg whites be added.
Step 2
The butter must be ground with half the sugar so that everything turns into a homogeneous white mass. Grind the other half of the sugar with the yolks. Both masses should be thoroughly mixed together until a homogeneous mass is formed. Next, you need to add nuts, soda and flour. After mixing the dough with flour, add the whipped egg whites and mix again.
Step 3
After preparing the dough, you should immediately start baking. Pour the dough into molds or simply shape the cake with your hands and bake at 200 degrees for one hour. After cooling, remove the muffins from the molds.
Step 4
Make the frosting. To do this, take 1 protein and beat it until it begins to thicken.
Step 5
Add sugar to the protein and beat again. The glaze should be uniform.
Step 6
Pour the icing over the finished muffins and let them dry a little. You can also garnish the muffins with grated walnuts.
