An omelet made of eggs, milk and other ingredients to taste is considered a fairly simple dish, but there are a few secrets you need to know to make a lush omelet.
In the cuisines of the countries of the world, omelet is prepared in completely different ways. Thus, a traditional French omelet is prepared without milk, flour and broth. Cheese, green peas, ham, fruit or pancakes are used as ingredients for this dish. French omelet is fried on one side only.
Italians add olive oil to the omelet instead of butter. Cheese is an obligatory component of the dish, and pasta, meat and vegetables are also added if desired.
The Soviet-style omelet turns out to be tall, tender, reminiscent of a soufflé. In order to prepare such a dish, certain laws must be followed.

1. Some housewives add baking soda to the omelet, which is absolutely impossible to do.
2. The fluffiness of your omelet directly depends on the amount of milk that you are going to use. Remember that the amount of milk should not exceed 1 tbsp. l. for 1 egg.
3. Add a few pinches of starch to the omelet to help keep the platter of the dish.
4. To obtain a fluffy mass, beat the fats separately from the proteins and only then combine with the rest of the ingredients. It is the yolks that allow the omelet to keep its fluffy shape.
5. Put the finished omelet hot on a plate immediately, otherwise the dish will lose its shape as a result of temperature extremes.
Lush omelette cooked in a pan
You will need:
- egg - 4 pcs.;
- 4 tsp milk;
- 4 tbsp. l. flour;
- butter (for frying);
- salt - according to your taste.
Separate the yolks from the whites and beat them individually well until they are strong peaks. Then, using a wooden spatula, combine the egg masses in a small container, add salt and other spices to your liking. Next, milk should be poured into this mass and wheat flour should be added. Beat the resulting mixture again until smooth.
Melt the butter in a skillet, then pour in the egg mixture and spread evenly over the entire surface. Cover the skillet with a lid and saute the omelet over low heat until tender.
