We bring to your attention a rather unusual, but very tasty soup made from dried mushrooms, peas and pork ribs. This combination of ingredients gives the soup a rich mushroom flavor and a mild pea flavor. All this is complemented by spices, meats and vegetables.

It is necessary

  • • 20-30 g of dried mushrooms;
  • • 200 g of crushed peas;
  • • 350 g fresh pork ribs;
  • • 1 onion-turnip;
  • • 1 carrot;
  • • 2-3 potatoes;
  • • 2.5-3 liters of water;
  • • black pepper, vegetable seasoning, salt;
  • • dill and homemade sour cream for serving.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the peas in running water, leave to swell for 2 hours in a bowl with water. Rinse the mushrooms and leave in a bowl of water. Insist for 1 hour, then pour together with the liquid into a small saucepan and boil until tender.

Step 2

Divide the ribs with a knife into portions, wash and fry until golden brown in a pan with sunflower oil. Transfer to a small pot of water. When the water boils, you should reduce the heat a little and cook for 40 minutes.

Step 3

Rinse peas swollen from water thoroughly. After 40 minutes, add washed peas to the ribs and cook until they are half cooked.

Step 4

Peel and wash onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion with a knife, and chop the carrots using a coarse grater. Put the prepared vegetables in the butter from under the pork ribs and fry until tender.

Step 5

Pour the boiled mushrooms together with the soup into a saucepan for the soup. Peel the potatoes, wash, chop into medium-sized cubes and add to the soup as well. Bring to a boil and cook the potatoes until tender.

Step 6

At the end of cooking, put the vegetable frying in the pea soup with mushrooms. Mix everything, then season with salt, pepper and vegetable seasoning. Mix again, bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Step 7

Insist the finished soup with the lid closed for 5-15 minutes, then pour into plates, sprinkle with finely chopped dill and season with homemade sour cream. Serve with bread and vegetables at will.
