Fritata is a traditional Italian omelet made with various fillings (vegetables, seafood, minced meat). This is usually done on the stove, bringing it to full readiness in the oven. This recipe involves baking fritat in the oven.
It is necessary
- - 5 large eggs;
- - 200-250 ml of milk;
- - 150 g unsweetened crackers;
- - 1 cup frozen green beans;
- - 1 cup frozen green peas;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of salt;
- - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter;
- - vegetable oil for lubricating the mold.
Instructions
Step 1
Break unsweetened crackers into large enough pieces and place them in a deep plate, pour a glass of milk on top and leave for 5 minutes to soften the crackers a little.
Step 2
Put butter in a frying pan, melt it over low heat, add frozen green beans and pour in some filtered water. Simmer the pods until soft.
Step 3
Break the chicken eggs into a deep dish, add salt and freshly ground black pepper, shake with a whisk to dissolve the salt.
Step 4
Add frozen peas, green beans, and crackers to the eggs, along with any milk that hasn't been absorbed in time. Stir the mixture gently.
Step 5
Grease a heat-resistant glass or ceramic dish with vegetable oil, put the egg-vegetable mass.
Step 6
Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake the frit for 35-40 minutes until a delicious golden brown crust is formed.
Step 7
Remove the finished omelet from the oven and leave on a wooden board to cool. Then cut the frit into square portions and serve.
