  • - scallops 400 g
  • - boiled eggs 2 pcs.
  • -lemon ½ pc.
  • - gelatin 1 tbsp. the spoon
  • - dill or parsley greens
  • For vegetable broth:
  • -carrot 1 pc.
  • - onion 1 head
  • - parsley greens 5 g
  • - laurel leaf 1 pc.
  • -salt, sweet peas 3-5 pcs.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, you need to boil the vegetables and strain the broth. To make the taste of the vegetable broth more colorful, cut the vegetables in half and fry them in a pan without oil. Thus, the broth gives the taste of cooked vegetables over the fire.

Step 2

You need to defrost scallops in natural conditions, after laying out from the freezer. The scallop will retain its beneficial and nutritional properties.

Scallops, pre-clean, fill with strained vegetable broth, cook for about 7-8 minutes, no more cooking, scallops will be tough. They should be soft and cut well with a knife into small pieces.

Step 3

Soak gelatin in cold boiled water. For 1 tablespoon 3-4 tablespoons of water.

The gelatin should completely absorb the water and swell. Then we take 2 cups of broth, gradually add to the swollen gelatin and bring to a boil.

We immediately remove from heat and leave to cool at room temperature.

Step 4

Cut the boiled scallops and put them in the mold.

Top with boiled egg halves, lemon slices and herbs.

Boiled vegetables can be used as decoration. The bright color of the carrots will revive the aspic.

Step 5

Pour the cooled jelly, slowly, scallops.

To prevent the ingredients from mixing, you can pour the jelly in two steps.

Pour scallops, cool in the refrigerator for one hour.

Decorate with lemon slices, herbs, egg halves, pour over the rest of the jelly. Refrigerate again for an hour.

Before serving, put the mold in hot water for 1-2 seconds and put the aspic on a dish.

Cooking time 1 hour 20 minutes + cooling.

Step 7

You can cook scallops in portions: for this you need to decide on individual molds. One serving will weigh 100-120 grams.

Put a piece of scallop and half a boiled egg in an individual mold. Decorate with herbs, a slice of lemon.

Fill each mold with the prepared mixture with gelatin and put in the refrigerator.
