  • instant yeast - 2 tsp;
  • flour - 550 g;
  • butter - 55 g;

Step 1

To make hamburger buns, combine butter, water, and milk in a small saucepan and then heat until the butter is melted. The mixture should be warm, not hot.

Step 2

Next, combine sugar, salt, yeast, 3/4 cup flour in a large bowl. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and add the egg. The remaining flour should be added in portions of 0.5 cups, mixing thoroughly each time. Place the resulting dough on a floured surface and continue to knead for 8 minutes. As a result, the bun dough will be elastic and smooth.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Form into smooth balls and place on a greased baking sheet. Flatten and cover them with something. Let them stand in this form for 30 minutes and rise slightly during this time.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 200oC, place hamburger buns in it and bake for 12 minutes. If you are making hot dog buns, shape each bite into a 15 by 10 centimeters rectangle. Roll the piece on the long side and pinch the ends and edges. Let it sit for 20 minutes and the rest is just like with hamburgers.

Step 5

The hamburger buns are quite large and tasty. You can make 16 buns instead of 12 buns with the same amount of ingredients. Then you can use the products at your discretion.
