Hamburgers are considered fast food, that is, a "quick meal" that can satisfy your hunger on the go, but it takes a long time to cook. It will take several hours only to bake the buns.

Step 1
Dissolve dry yeast in 1 glass of warm water. Heat the milk over low heat, bring it to a boil. when it boils, remove from heat and mix with butter, sugar and salt. Cool the mixture to about 30 degrees.

Add yeast, 3 cups flour to the cooled mass and beat with a mixer until the mass thickens. Next, add the remaining flour and knead the dough until smooth and elastic. The dough should be kneaded for a long time (at least 10 minutes).

Roll the dough into a ball and brush it on all sides with butter. Cover with a clean napkin or tea towel and leave in a warm place for at least 1 hour. During this time, the dough should double in size.
Step 4
Pound the dough and divide into equal pieces. Then roll them into balls, place them on a greased baking sheet and leave to rise for another hour.
Step 5
Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Beat an egg, mix it with water. Grease the buns with this mixture and place in the oven until they are golden brown (this will take about 15-20 minutes).
Step 6
Cut the finished hamburger buns across, but not completely, dry in a preheated dry frying pan, brush with sauce, add the finished chopped steak, herbs and vegetables.
