A warm fragrant bun for morning tea will delight and cheer up, perhaps, every child and adult. Many families have favorite baking recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Try one of these centuries-old family recipes for delicious buns.
It is necessary
-
- premium flour - 500-600 g;
- dry yeast - 2 teaspoons;
- milk - 1, 5 glasses;
- eggs - 4 pieces;
- sugar - 1/2 cup;
- vanilla sugar - 1 sachet;
- homemade cream - 2 tablespoons;
- vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons;
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the dough: heat the milk to a temperature of 37-38 degrees and pour half into a bowl. Pour yeast into it, evenly distributing it over the surface of the milk, and add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Mix well and add enough flour to make a dough that resembles liquid sour cream in consistency. Put in a warm place for half an hour, covered with a clean towel. Dough is ready if it has doubled and cracks appear on it.
Step 2
Sift the remaining flour into a large bowl, add salt to it, and stir. Then make a funnel in a pile of flour and pour the dough and the remaining warm milk there, then add the yolks from three eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and cream. Knead a soft dough, add vegetable oil at the end. Stir it for a long time until it stops sticking to your hands. Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a clean towel and leave in a warm place to rise for 40-50 minutes. During this time, its volume will increase 2-2.5 times. On well-raised dough, the toe pits will remain, not even out. Hump the dough and set it to come again.
Step 3
Take out the finished dough and cut it into buns - roll up small balls and cut them crosswise with a knife from above so that they do not crack when baking. Place the buns on a greased baking sheet at a short distance from each other and brush the top and sides with an egg, beaten with sugar and vegetable oil (a teaspoon of both). Let them distance for 10 minutes and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. When the buns are baked, cover them with a towel and let sit for 15 minutes - the crust will soften on top.
