Everything ingenious is simple - we offer you a recipe for simple but sweet yeast buns with lemon zest and raisins. This pastry goes well with coffee or tea. They can be a quick bite to eat during your lunch break.
It is necessary
- For ten servings:
- - 350 g flour;
- - 150 ml of milk;
- - 125 g seedless raisins;
- - 120 g of sugar;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 20 g of fresh yeast;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of grated lemon zest;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - egg for greasing, sugar for decoration.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the raisins, pat dry. Heat the milk, crush fresh yeast into it, add 2 teaspoons of flour and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir everything until smooth, let the dough come up (put in a warm place), it will take about 20 minutes.
Step 2
Sift the remaining flour into a deep bowl, add 100 g of sugar, grated lemon zest, a pinch of salt, beat in an egg. Add a suitable dough, knead a smooth homogeneous dough, add raisins and butter to it, knead well, put in a bowl, cover with a towel, leave for an hour to expand the dough.
Step 3
Form the raisin dough into round buns, place them on a baking sheet at a distance from each other, cover with a towel, and leave for 20 minutes. Beat one egg until light foam, grease buns with it, sprinkle generously with fine granulated sugar.
Step 4
Bake delicious raisin buns at 180 degrees for 20 minutes (preheat the oven). You can serve hot immediately or pre-chill the buns - this will not make them less tasty.
