250 grams of chickpeas, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of flour, 0.5 teaspoon of sugar, salt, pepper, vegetable oil

Step 1
Pour chickpeas with water and leave for 10 hours. Drain and mince.
Step 2
Grate the carrots on a medium grater, finely chop the onion. Fry them in vegetable oil.
Step 3
Combine chickpeas and vegetables. Add soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, pepper and egg. Mix well.
Step 4
Add 2 tablespoons flour and sugar to the mixture. Knead.
Step 5
Form the patties, roll in flour and fry in hot oil - first over high heat, then reduce and turn the patties. Cover and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
