A festive table cannot do without an extraordinary and surprising-tasting main dish. As him, I suggest you cook a delicious beef steak. It will take quite a long time to prepare it, but everyone, without exception, will appreciate this dish.
It is necessary
- - beef - 1, 2-1, 4 kg;
- - beer - 1 bottle;
- - rum or cognac - 6 tablespoons;
- - sweet ground paprika - 1 teaspoon;
- - red bell pepper - 2 pcs.;
- - orange juice - 4 tablespoons;
- - lemon juice - 2 tablespoons;
- - dry ground garlic - 1 teaspoon;
- - papaya - 1 pc.;
- - sugar - 80 g;
- - mango - 1 pc.;
- - pear - 3 pcs.;
- - salt - 0.5 tablespoon;
- - icing sugar - 50 g;
- - ground black pepper;
- - ground red hot pepper.
- For the sauce:
- - lemon juice - 0.5 tablespoon;
- - butter - 50 g;
- - white wine vinegar - 0.5 tablespoon;
- - egg yolks - 2 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
After rinsing the beef thoroughly, pat dry with a paper towel. Then cut the meat into pieces that are 3 centimeters thick and weigh 300-500 grams.
Step 2
After pouring the granulated sugar into a separate bowl, mix it with the following ingredients: dry garlic, black and red pepper, and paprika. Mix everything properly. Apply the resulting dry mixture to the surface of the chopped beef steaks. Place the grated meat in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
Step 3
After 12 hours have passed, remove the beef steaks and cover them with a mixture of chopped papaya pulp and beer. Refrigerate the meat for about 2 hours. During this time, it will have time to marinate.
Step 4
After 2 hours, remove the marinated meat from the refrigerator and fry it on both sides for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Now it's time to flambé the fruit. To do this, pour granulated sugar into a pan and heat it until it melts. After peeling the pears and mangoes, chop them into small pieces. Then place in a bowl with powdered sugar and roll. In this form, put the chopped fruit in sugar. Add lemon and orange juice there. After pouring rum or cognac into the ladle, light it and pour over the fruit mass.
Step 6
All that remains is to prepare the beef steak sauce. To do this, combine egg yolks with white wine vinegar and lemon juice. Whisk everything properly. Then add butter to the resulting mass, having previously melted it. Beat the mixture until it becomes quite thick.
Step 7
Serve the meat along with the flambéed fruit, gravy and bell pepper. Delicious beef steak is ready!
