It is necessary

  • - Grapes;
  • - the cloth:
  • - wooden box;
  • - dry wood sawdust.

Instructions

Step 1

Take grapes, you don't need to wash them. There is a layer on the berries that gives them a matte finish and protects them from mold. If there is moisture on them, remove it gently with a cotton swab. Only dry berries should be used for storage. Examine each of them, you need to use scissors to separate the rotten and moldy berries.

Step 2

Put a dry cloth on your hand and a bunch of grapes on top, then rub each berry separately. Take a large wooden box and cover it with a cloth, pour sawdust on top, place the grapes so that the bunches do not touch each other. Transfer them with sawdust and lay a layer of berries again. The last layer should be sawdust.

Step 3

The storage room for grapes should be large and well ventilated. The temperature must be kept above 8 degrees Celsius and the humidity must be at least 80%. This will help prevent mold from growing on the berries. Be sure to sort out the bunches once a month and throw away the rotten berries. In this form, the grapes can be stored until spring.

Step 4

Juice can be prepared from grapes for future use, which should be stored in a cool dry place in tightly closed jars. Prepare wine or vinegar if possible. Also, you can make compote from berries. In the latter case, you can add apples and pears, then you do not have to add sugar.

Step 5

Take fresh grapes, clean them of rotten berries and separate them from the branch. Place on a tray lined with cloth and place in the sun. Dry for three to four days, then fold into a linen bag. You can dry the grapes in the same way. Then they are hung in bunches and dried in the sun in the same way as the berries individually.

Step 6

For storage, choose grapes with large berries with a white bloom. In this case, the color does not matter. The main thing is that they do not have any damage, blackheads and rot.
