If you like chicken liver and mushrooms, then you will definitely like the liver-mushroom lavash cake. All the ingredients for it can be bought at any store, and it prepares surprisingly quickly.
It is necessary
- - lavash;
- - 500 g of chicken liver;
- - 1 PC. onions;
- - 1 PC. carrots;
- - mushrooms;
- - processed cheese;
- - pickles;
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to prepare liver pate. We'll need it in order to grease the cake. The chicken liver should be fried first. Add salt and pepper there to taste, and then a little chopped nutmeg.
Step 2
Peel and wash the onions. Chop it finely and fry it until golden brown. Once it's browned, add the finely chopped carrots and fry the whole mixture until tender.
Step 3
Grind the liver, onions and carrots until a paste. You can, for example, use a blender for this purpose. If small pieces of liver nevertheless come across in the pate, there will be nothing wrong with that.
Step 4
Separately, you need to fry the mushrooms and onions. Add salt to them to taste.
Step 5
Now it's time to tackle the base for our cake. Depending on its shape, cut the pita bread into circles or squares. Spread melted cheese on the first layer of pita bread, and on it put the mushrooms and onions that you just fried.
Step 6
Add another sheet of pita bread and spread it with the liver pate that you cooked in the blender in the previous steps. Place thinly sliced pickled cucumbers on the pate.
Step 7
Then just alternate layers. The third layer will be processed cheese again, the fourth - liver mass with cucumbers. Theoretically, there can be as many layers as you like, but do not overdo it so that the cake does not come out too high. The topmost layer can be smeared with melted cheese and garnished with herbs and walnuts.
Step 8
The cake should be soaked for about 1.5 hours, after which it can be served.
