Instructions
Step 1
There are many recipes for preparing mango-based dishes. Among them are hearty meat and fish dishes, light salads and cocktails, exotic snacks. For example, even the ancient Indians used mango fruits to make the traditional chutney sauce. To make this sauce, you will need 4 large and ripe mangoes, 2 cups granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, two chopped onions, one hot chili pepper, half a glass of lemon juice, and a glass of raisins. To start, you mix the sugar and vinegar in a large saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add salt, garlic, onion, chopped chili and 2 tablespoons of ginger to the resulting mass. Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for 12-15 minutes. Then add raisins, mango pieces and lemon juice to the pan (you can use lime juice). Keep the saucepan on the fire for another 10 minutes, and then pour the sauce into the jars. Chutney sauce is a great addition to game and various meat dishes.
Step 2
Ripe mangoes can also be used to make delicious summer salads. For example, please your guests with a mango and cheese salad. To prepare it, you will need 400 g of hard cheese, 300 g of mango, 100 g of pears and 200 g of yogurt. Take a deep plate, cut the pears and mango into cubes, add grated cheese to them and cover the salad with yogurt. You can also make an excellent dietary salad from mangoes. For this, you will need one mango fruit, 1 bunch of lettuce, one chili pepper, and half a cup of red wine vinegar. Cut the mango into cubes, cut the pepper into rings, and tear the salad with your hands. Mix all ingredients in a deep bowl and season with wine vinegar.
Step 3
In tropical countries, mangoes are often used to make delicious alcoholic cocktails. Surprise your party guests with a tropical Mango Martini! For such a cocktail, you will need three mangoes and about 300 ml of vodka. First, you mix the vodka with ice in a shaker. Then cut the mango fruits into cubes, transfer them to a bowl, pour all this with cold vodka and leave for 3 days so that the fruits are infused. Before serving, mango-vodka is again mixed with ice and poured into martini glasses. Glasses can be garnished with lime and mint slices. Another successful cocktail called "Mango-daiquiri" came to us from sunny Cuba. In a shaker, mix half a mango, cut into pieces, a teaspoon of sugar, 100 ml of rum and 2 tablespoons of lemon or lime juice. Add some ice to the resulting mass and pour into glasses.
