It often happens that we have tried all our favorite recipes for dishes and can no longer think of what to cook for ourselves and our family. To answer our question, we turn to various recipes, but finding the necessary information takes a lot of time and effort. And it's all about the exquisite ingredients, which are often not at hand.
I propose a simple dish that will appeal to all household members.

- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onions - 1-2 pieces
- Potatoes - 2.5-3 kg
- Meat (boneless) - 300-400 gr
- Salt, spices - to taste
- Water
- Inventory:
- Pan
- Board
- Knife
- Grater (or shredder)
Instructions
Step 1
Pour oil into a saucepan. Put the meat into cubes. Add salt and spices. Fry lightly, about 10 minutes.
Step 2
After the meat is lightly fried, add grated carrots and chopped onions. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes.
Step 3
Boil about 2 liters. water in the teapot while the onions and carrots are cooked. This is done in order not to wait for the cold water in the pan to heat up.
Step 4
Add potatoes, cut into strips or cubes. Add hot water to cover almost all of the potatoes (leaving about 2-3 cm). Season with salt, add spices to taste.
Step 5
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender (about 30-60 minutes). Make sure that there is always at least half of the water in the pot.
Braised potatoes are cooked for about 1-1.5 hours, depending on the volume of the pan.
