Step 1
For preparing a snack, it is better to take frozen mussels, canned mussels in oil or mayonnaise are not suitable here, they are too salty. Defrost mussels, rinse, peel.

Pour the prepared mussels next to the tomato juice, simmer under a closed lid. After 5 minutes, pour in 100 ml of red wine, stir. Salt and pepper the mussels to taste, add spices to taste, spicy mixtures of Provencal herbs will be appropriate here.
Step 4
Simmer mussels without covering, the liquid should evaporate at least half. Serve Provençal ready-made mussels with fresh bread and white or red wine. Garnish with chopped green onions.
