Somehow we all got used to the traditional method of making dumplings, when they are simply boiled in salted water. But there is another way of cooking them, which reveals the taste of this dish in a completely different way. If you have never tried to fry dumplings, now we will teach you how to do it.
It is necessary
-
- Frozen dumplings - 0.5 kg,
- Vegetable oil 50 ml,
- Bay leaf - 1 piece,
- Boiled water - 0.5 cups.
Instructions
Step 1
Put a frying pan on the fire, heat and pour vegetable oil into it. When the oil is well heated, turn the heat down and place the dumplings on the bottom of the skillet. It is desirable, of course, that they lie in one layer, if there is not enough space in the pan, then you will have to fry them in several stages.
Step 2
When the dumplings are fried on one side, turn them over and fry on the other side until golden brown. You can sprinkle them with ground black pepper.
Step 3
Pour the water into the pan, put the bay leaf, cover it with a lid, increase the heat to maximum and boil the dumplings until the water has completely evaporated. After that, the dumplings can be laid out on a dish, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs and served.
