The microwave oven helps out many housewives, especially if there is no time for long dinner preparations. Perhaps the easiest option is to cook dumplings in the broth in the microwave, but you can also fry them, although this will take a little longer.
Instructions
Step 1
Warm half a liter of water in the microwave. Instead of glasses, use a roast pot or microwave saucepan. Pour 0.5 kg of dumplings into the already hot water and leave in the oven for 7-9 minutes at power III (for five-stage ovens).
While the dumplings are simmering, grate frozen butter and 150-200 grams of hard cheese on a coarse grater. Don't mix.
Step 2
Take out the pan of dumplings and discard the product in a colander. You can use the stock to make the sauce, so you can drain it into another container.
Step 3
When the dumplings have drained and cooled somewhat, put them on a plate in one or two layers and sprinkle with half of the grated butter. Season with salt and your favorite spices.
Step 4
Place the plate in the oven for 5 minutes. Please note that the "Grill" function must be turned on. Ten, by the way, should be warmed up in advance.
Step 5
Remove the dumplings after five minutes. A noticeable crust should form on them. If there is broth on the plate, drain it completely and sprinkle the cheese and remaining butter on the dish, it will saturate the dumplings and give them their usual softness and juiciness.
Send the plate to the microwave for another 3-5 minutes. Then take out the dish, let it "rest", sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and serve.
Step 6
If you are a fan of the "Uzbek" version of hard fried dumplings, add a little butter and skip the cheese. Keep the dumplings under the grill until they are well browned. Remember to drain off excess juice. Sauce is a must for such a dish. Prepare it from the drained broth.
Step 7
Add a tablespoon of mayonnaise, a teaspoon of flour and a teaspoon of vinegar to half a liter of broth. Chop the herbs into it and bring to a boil in the microwave. Cool and serve.
