Ingredients:

  • 250-300 g of cottage cheese;
  • 5 tbsp granulated sugar;
  • coconut flakes;
  • 200-250 g of strawberries (always ripe);
  • 1 egg;
  • some flour;
  • butter.

Preparation:

  1. First, prepare the curd. To make the "dough" tender and airy, it must be wiped through a sieve, or you can skip it a couple of times through a meat grinder. By the way, if you bought cottage cheese in a store in packs, then, as a rule, it is already ready to use and you do not need to grind it first.
  2. Sugar is poured into a deep bowl and an egg is added. Using a spoon, the mass is thoroughly rubbed until it acquires a light shade.
  3. Cottage cheese and cow butter are poured into the same container, which should be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes very soft. Everything mixes well. If the dough crumbles heavily, then you can add quite a bit of wheat flour to it.
  4. Next, you need to prepare the berry. It is sorted out, removing all unripe and rotten strawberries. Then the berry is thoroughly washed and laid out on a paper towel so that the excess liquid is glass.
  5. From the dough, you need to make small cakes, which are usually prepared for simple dumplings. The berry is placed right in the center and the dough is stuck together. Try to shape the finished dumplings into a ball.
  6. After all the dumplings are made, they must be rolled in coconut flakes. Then they are laid out on a plate and put away in a cool place or refrigerator. There the dumplings must stand for at least 5 hours. After this time, they can be served on the table.
