The season for picking wild strawberries has begun. This is a very aromatic and, most importantly, healthy berry. Jam is made from it, frozen for the winter, and dumplings are very tasty with wild strawberries.
It is necessary
- - 2 eggs;
- - 4 glasses of flour;
- - milk or water;
- - 1 tsp vegetable oil;
- - salt, sugar;
- - strawberries.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a dumpling dough. To do this, pour the flour into a bowl with a slide and make a depression in it. Beat 2 eggs and, adding salted milk or water, knead the dumplings dough. Next, pour in a teaspoon of vegetable oil and mash well. Cover the dough with a cloth and leave for 30-40 minutes.
Step 2
Sort out wild strawberries, remove soft and rotten ones. Fill in the remaining sugar for 30 minutes. Let them soak well, because strawberries can be sour in dumplings.
Step 3
Roll out the dough for dumplings into a layer, cut into squares. Put the sugar-soaked strawberries in a colander, let the juice drain out. By the way, do not throw it away, it will come in handy for watering dumplings.
Step 4
Place a spoonful of strawberries on each square of dough and cover the edges. Cook the strawberry dumplings in sweetened water. As soon as they come up, hold a little more and take out. Serve hot with strawberry juice.
