Kurd or otherwise it is also called curd - this is a dessert of English cuisine. This dish is universal, as it can be used both for a layer of cakes, and simply spread on bread instead of jam. I propose to cook Kurd from such berries as strawberries.
It is necessary
- - strawberries - 200 g;
- - sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- - lemon juice - 2 tablespoons;
- - corn starch - 2.5 tablespoons.
Instructions
Step 1
With the strawberries, do the following: rinse them thoroughly from the ground, then remove the top, that is, the leaves. Now the berry is ready for further procedures.
Step 2
Place clean strawberries in a blender. Then add granulated sugar to it. Grind the resulting mixture until smooth. This will make the berry puree.
Step 3
Squeeze the juice out of the lemon. This can be done either by hand or with a citrus juicer. Then, combine it in a separate loose bowl with the cornstarch. Stir the resulting mixture thoroughly until smooth.
Step 4
Add the cornstarch and lemon juice mixture to the strawberry puree. Beat the resulting mass well with a blender.
Step 5
Put the future strawberry Kurd in a saucepan. It is most convenient to use a medium-sized saucepan for this procedure. Place the utensils on the stove and simmer the mixture over medium heat. When the mass boils, cook it, remembering to stir continuously, for another 2 minutes, that is, until it thickens.
Step 6
Transfer the thick strawberry mass to a glass jar. Let it cool completely. Strawberry Kurd is ready! Store this treat in the refrigerator.
