Meatballs with rice are a great option for dinner with children. If you have an oven, then cooking it will not be difficult. The zest of these meatballs is that they are cooked together with the frying and poured with sour cream-tomato sauce.

  • - rice - 80 g;
  • - onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • - tomato - 1 pc.;
  • - sour cream - 200 g;
  • - tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the rice and dip in a small saucepan. Pour 160 ml of water, bring to a boil and cook under a closed lid for 10-15 minutes. When the rice is cooked, put it in a cool place to cool.

Peel the onions and chop finely. Cut the tomato into cubes as small as possible.

Step 3

We will cook fry for the meatballs. Heat a frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it. Add the onion and sauté until golden brown. Add the tomato and fry until the tomato juice has evaporated. Cool the finished frying.

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 200 degrees. In a deep bowl, combine the minced meat, boiled rice and tomato and onion stir-fry. Add chicken egg, black pepper and salt to taste. Mix well.

Grease a baking dish generously with sour cream. From the finished minced meat, mold balls about 5 cm in diameter and place them in a mold.

For the sauce, mix the remaining sour cream with half a glass of boiled water, add tomato paste, salt and a pinch of black pepper. Mix everything well.

Step 7

Pour the sauce over all the meatballs evenly and send the form to the oven. Bake them for half an hour until golden brown.
