The salad turns out to be incredibly beautiful and tasty. Thanks to its unusual design, it will become a decoration of any festive table. Prepare the dish in advance so that it has time to harden and has a good shape.

It is necessary

  • - 200 g carrots
  • - 200 g green peas
  • - 350 g potatoes
  • - 200 g ham
  • - 2-3 pcs apples
  • - lemon juice
  • - 6 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
  • - 3 tbsp. l. sour cream
  • - 150 ml of meat broth
  • - 5 eggs
  • - 20 g gelatin
  • - to taste - salt, pepper, mustard
  • - carrots, red paprika, parsley for decoration

Instructions

Step 1

Boil eggs hard-boiled, let cool and peel. Boil carrots and potatoes and peel. Chop vegetables and ham into cubes. Cut the apples into small cubes, sprinkle with lemon juice so that they do not darken.

Step 2

Toss all ingredients, including the peas, in a large bowl. Pour in the fill and mix.

Step 3

Preparation of the filling: mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, salt and pepper thoroughly until a total mass is formed.

Step 4

Dissolve gelatin in 250 g of broth, heat, but do not bring to a boil, let cool. Pour the broth into the salad and mix everything well.

Step 5

Take the cling film and place it in the prepared form so that some of the film goes over the edges. Divide the salad evenly and place one part in the mold. Place whole hard-boiled eggs in a row in the center. Top with the other half of the salad. Cover completely with the remaining film hanging. Tap the mold so that there is no void anywhere and the salad is evenly distributed. Refrigerate the dish until the next day to freeze.

Step 6

Remove the finished salad from the refrigerator, turn it over onto a prepared beautiful serving plate, carefully peel off the film. Decorate with carrots and herbs as desired. Slice the holiday salad with a sharp large knife before serving.
