Previously, in the villages and villages of central Russia, dumplings with such a filling were always made. For the filling of dumplings, peeled potatoes and onions are cut into cubes. Fresh bacon is passed through a meat grinder and set aside. After bacon, potatoes and onions are quickly turned through a large nozzle of a meat grinder. Combine both masses, add salt, black ground pepper. Add dill if desired. The filling is ready, you can cover it with cling film so that the potatoes do not wind up.
