Korean cuisine is spicy, with a lot of spices, and has a pungent taste. In Russia, a variant of cuisine from ethnic Koreans living in Russia is known and popular.
In Korean cuisine, rice, noodles, and vegetables are used in large quantities. The most famous vegetable dish is kimchi, it is prepared from any vegetables available, including potatoes. For cooking you will need:
- 5-6 medium sized potatoes;
- 10 cloves of garlic (you can't spoil a Korean dish with garlic;
- salt, ground pepper (black and red in equal amounts) - to taste;
- a glass of vegetable oil and table vinegar;
- 2-3 good carrots;
- 1 PC. onions;
- 2/3 shots of soy sauce.
Peel the potatoes, chop them into strips (you can use a shredder), rinse from starch in plenty of water. Put potato strips in a saucepan, cover with water, pour in half a shot of vinegar, salt, bring to a boil and boil for 3-5 minutes - the potatoes should be damp (aldente). Place the potatoes in a colander to drain the water.
Also cut the carrots into small strips, cut the onion into half rings, chop the garlic - put the vegetables in a container and marinate with the remaining vinegar. Soak for 20-30 minutes and combine with potatoes. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put pepper in it, pour in soy sauce and boil. Pour vegetables with boiling oil, let it brew for 1-2 hours and serve. A spicy snack can be prepared for future use, it is perfectly stored for a long time in the refrigerator and it only becomes tastier.
