Burbot cutlets are one of the most delicious fish dishes. It is better to use minced meat without unnecessary additives. Fish seasoning can be used instead of salt. The dish turns out to be very tasty and tender.
Ingredients:
- ground black pepper - to taste;
- salt to taste;
- egg - 1 pc;
- onion - 1 pc;
- milk - 2 tbsp;
- pulp of bread - 200 g;
- burbot fillet - 1 kg.
Preparation:
First, prepare all the ingredients. If the fillet of burbot has been frozen, then it must first be defrosted. Clean the whole fish from all excess, cut off the fins, tail, head, gut and rinse in water. Get rid of the skin and bones, cut the fillet into pieces with a sharp knife.
Peel the onions, cut off all excess with a knife, rinse and finely chop on a cutting board. Toss the pulp of the bread into a medium bowl and cover with milk. You can rip off the pieces with pre-washed hands.
Add an egg, burbot fillet, onions to a cup to bread. Pepper and salt the whole mass, and then mix it carefully until smooth. You get something like minced fish.
Make cutlets from minced meat, heat a frying pan with butter. Fry the patties on both sides until they are completely cooked. Turn the food several times with a wooden or plastic spatula during frying. Remember to cover the pan with a lid while cooking.
Simultaneously boil peeled potatoes for burbot cutlets in salted water. When finished cooking, drain the water and crush it into a puree, adding hot milk, butter and an egg. Serve hot patties with mashed potatoes in portioned plates along with tomatoes, herbs and sour cream.
