Chicken kebab with pineapple is a simple and exotic dish at the same time. It is not at all difficult to make it at home. The meat is juicy and tender. And thanks to the ginger root and orange, the dish acquires very interesting flavors.
Ingredients:
- brown sugar - 1 tablespoon;
- ginger root - 1 pc;
- orange - 1 pc;
- soy sauce - 100 ml;
- ketchup - 100 ml;
- pineapple - 1 pc;
- chicken breasts - 2 pcs.
Preparation:
Start by making the marinade. To do this, in a medium bowl, combine juice from one orange, ketchup, soy sauce, grated ginger and sugar.
Rinse the chicken fillet in running cold water, cut it into pieces for barbecue with a sharp knife. You can adjust the size at your discretion. If the meat has been in the freezer for a long time, it must first be defrosted.
Place the chicken pieces in the marinade, roll them on all sides with clean hands and cover with something, refrigerate for 30 minutes. If you want a juicier and more tender taste, marinate the meat longer.
When the pieces of meat are done, start stringing them onto the skewers. Put on a piece of chicken one by one, then a piece of pineapple. Place the skewers on a greased baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 200oC and place a baking sheet with kebabs inside. Bake for half an hour. Begin to follow the dish closely at twenty-fifth minutes. It is important not to allow the surface of the chicken meat to dry out.
Remove the finished chicken kebab with pineapple from the oven and serve immediately. This dish can be perfectly combined with some light salad and red wine.
