Most dieters refuse pasta, believing that they will harm their figure. This is both true and wrong. It all depends on what kind of pasta and what to eat.
The pasta itself is unlikely to do much harm to the figure. It's all about what is served with them. Cutlets, sausages, meat gravies contain a lot of animal fats. It is they that cause a significant increase in body weight.
Quality pasta made from durum wheat is considered dietary. Their caloric content is not more than 180 kcal per 100 g. Due to the high fiber content and the presence of complex carbohydrates in the composition, such pasta is slowly digested, and the feeling of satiety remains for a long time. The fiber remaining in the stomach after digesting pasta cleans its walls, provoking more vigorous activity.
The choice of pasta suitable for weight loss should be taken with full responsibility. It is worth choosing products only of category A, it is this pasta from durum wheat. The most harmful for the figure are group B pasta, they are made from bakery flour, have a gray-white tint and are very boiled during cooking, but their price is an order of magnitude lower than for premium products.
So, in order to lose weight on pasta, you must:
- choose products of category (group) A, in their composition there should not be anything other than premium flour and water;
- refuse fatty gravies and sauces, sausages and semi-finished products in combination with pasta;
- dilute pasta with vegetables rich in fiber;
- lean meat or fish go well with pasta;
- The total serving size should not exceed 300 g;
- do not overcook pasta, the "right" weight loss products should be slightly undercooked.
