Maslenitsa is one of the most beloved Russian holidays for many. Pancakes are a traditional Shrovetide dish, which is loved by both young and old alike. But since Shrovetide is celebrated for a whole week and pancakes can get boring, a pancake cake is an excellent variety.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - eggs - 3 pcs.
- - milk - 700 ml
- - flour - 1, 5 tbsp.
- - salt - 1/3 tsp
- - sugar - 1 tablespoon
- - slaked soda - 0.5 tsp
- - chocolate - 100 g
- For the cream:
- - cottage cheese - 500 g
- - cream - 600 ml
- - icing sugar to taste
- - vanillin
Instructions
Step 1
Cooking pancake dough. In a bowl, beat eggs with sugar and salt. Pour in milk, add soda slaked in vinegar. Next, stirring constantly, gradually add flour. Melt the chocolate in a separate bowl in a water bath. Add the resulting chocolate mass in a thin stream to the pancake dough. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 2
Lightly grease the pan with oil and set on fire. After it has warmed up to a high temperature, bake pancakes on it.
Step 3
While the finished pancakes are cooling, the cream should be prepared. Take chilled cream and add powdered sugar to it, after which you need to beat it all well. Add the cottage cheese previously passed through a sieve to the resulting mixture and mix thoroughly. The cream is ready.
Step 4
Take a suitable, preferably flat dish. Spread the pancakes on it, carefully smearing each pancake with a layer of curd cream. In order for the cake to soak better, it is recommended to put it in the refrigerator overnight.
