Scallop is an edible bivalve mollusc. The habitat of scallops is the seas of the Far East and the Black Sea. The scallop is often part of the seafood cocktail, but can be purchased separately. Very light kebabs are obtained from them, they can be supplemented with small cherry tomatoes - it will turn out both delicious and beautiful.
It is necessary
- - 500 g frozen scallops;
- - 250 g cherry tomatoes;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of flower liquid honey;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of tomato ketchup;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of cherry or orange liqueur;
- - lemon juice;
- - wooden skewers.
Instructions
Step 1
Defrost scallops in advance on the top shelf of the refrigerator. To do this, put them in a colander, put it in a deep bowl.
Step 2
Combine soy sauce with ketchup, runny honey, orange liqueur. It turned out to be a kebab marinade.
Step 3
Put completely thawed scallops in the marinade, stir, refrigerate. The scallops should be marinated for three hours - more, but no less.
Step 4
Put wooden skewers in cold water, drip a few drops of fresh lemon juice into it. Soak the sticks in water for 30-40 minutes.
Step 5
String the pickled scallops onto skewers, alternating with cherry. Cook for 5 minutes on the grill or in the oven under the grill. If there is no grill at all, then bake the kebabs in the oven heated to 185 degrees. 7 minutes will be enough. Flip the skewers frequently, and brush the marinade on the scallops with a cooking brush.
