First you need to knead the dough. Combine water with softened butter, salt, yeast and flour.

After that, divide the dough into small balls, roll each into a thin pancake, fry each in a pan (15 seconds on each side). The pan should be well hot.

You will understand that it is time to turn the pita bread when it turns white and bubbles. Do not overdry the pita bread, do not fry it until golden brown, you need to act quickly! Armenian lavash turns out to be pale in color.
Step 5
